Sharp BD-HP20S Blu-Ray Player
Sharp has just showcased its first dedicated Blu-Ray movie player outside of Japan at IFA 2007, called “BD-HP20S”. At measures just 2.7-inch tall, the player offers a HDMI 1.3, thus ability to pass HD lossless audio formats (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio). Moreover, it loads BD-Java authoring system delivers a variety of interactive features such as pop-up menus, allowing for easy content navigation during playback. The device support 1080p upscaling of analog DVDs with 24fps for movies. According to the schedule, the company plans a European release in the fall, however, no words on pricing at the moment.
