Asus unleashed its 17-inch (1440×900) santa rosa-based multimedia laptop with HD-DVD/Blu-ray drives, the G2S-7R135C. Technically speaking, this machine sports a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 2GB DDR2 667 MHz of RAM, 160GB SATA hard drive and NVIDIA Geforce 8600M WP 256MB VRAM with up to 1GB TurboCache graphics engine. Furthermore, it’s support a wide range of connectivity, including 802.11 Wi-Fia/b/g/n, HDMI, bluetooth 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and 4-in-1 card reader. Priced at €1600, the 7R135C also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, analog TV tuner and pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.
