Samsung World’s First 8M Camera For Cell Phone
Samsung Electronics officially announced the release of “World’s First 8 Megapixels Camera” featuring a CMOS sensor for a mobile phone. At a measures only 10.5 X 11.5 X 9.4mm, This camera module is support auto focus functionality and the company still focused on the small form factor similar to the size of 3 megapixels (its predecessor) but boasts the performance of 8M camera phone and thanks to its exclusive PIEZO Technology. Additionally, The CMOS Sensor itself would be start mass production in the first half of next year.
