[CES 2008] Viliv U5 UMPC
One of Ultra-Mobile PC that showcased by Viliv during CES 2008 is the “U5″ model. Schedule to hit the market in Quarter-three of 2008 at an MRSP of $800. This compact 4.8-inch machine boasts an Intel Menlow 1.86GHz processor, a 512MB of DDR2 main memory, QWERTY keyboard and 30 or 60GB of hard drive. Anyway, it is not a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Instead, the QWERTY keyboard is split down the middle, separated by a widescreen WSVGA display. Moreover, it also equipped SiRFStar III chipset, bluetooth connectivity, optional WAN (HSDPA, WiBRO, WiMAX) with external modem, direct 3D 9ex, OGL2.0, HD Video Decoder for MPEG2, H.264 (720p), composite, S-Video, Component, Web browser, biometric fingerprint reader and webcam.
