Kohjinsha Two New UMPC To Be Made Available Soon
Kohjinsha will be start to sell a couple of Ultra-Mobile PC on Friday in Japan featuring AMD Geode LX800 500MHz (video functional built-in) CPU and 7″ touch-screen display with resolution of 1,024×600-pixel. The first of the two is the “SA5KX08AL” that comes with a 80GB of HDD, 512MB of main memory (upgradeable to 1GB), AMD’s Geode CS5536 Chipset, and runs on Windows XP Home Edition. It will retail for 59,800 Yen.
As for the SA5KX08FL machine is same with SA5KX08AL model but it has pre-installs Office Personal 2007 and will be retails for 79,800 Yen. Additionally, these UMPC also loads CF card slot, SD card /MMC/ memory card slot, USB 2.0×2, mini- D-Sub15 pin, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11b/g, voice input/output, and more. The Li-Ion battery offers up to 5 hours of run time, longer than the SR8KPO6S model which have just 3.5 hours, however they missed a DVD drive. [ Via : Impress ]
