How To Clone Your ID On Yahoo Messenger 8

Yahoo! Messenger (commonly referred to as YM) is an instant message application that has developed by yahoo, lets you to chat even to call and talk over the internet with other just like you’re on the phone that using a headset or a microphone / a built-in speakers. Usually, in every PCs that have installed Yahoo! Messenger, we can use just one ID (e-mail ID that we’ve sign up at Yahoo), but with a little bit mods on the registry, we can use more than one ID / clone on 1 PCs.

Remember, this mod just work on Yahoo! Messenger 8 and to do that just follow the step below :

Step 1. Click Start —> Run

Step 2. After you click Run, the dialog box will appear, and you need to type “regedit” on it.

Step 3. On the registry dialog box, find the entry of HKEY_CURRENT_USER —> Software —> Yahoo —>Pager —> Test

Step 4. Choose right click on your mouse and then click New —> DWORD Value. Now you’ll found a new column about the DWORD Data and give it a name as “plural“.  Make a right click on DWORD Data and choose the  Base with Hexadecimal, while Value Data rename it to 1 because the default is 0.

Now, you can chat with other use more than / different ID on 1 PCs. Simply open the Yahoo! Messenger via start, just like you run the Yahoo! Messenger for the first time.
