yahoo messenger logoI have written earlier on how to clone Yahoo! Messenger ID, now lets see how we can show our Yahoo! Messenger status on a blog. The reason is sometimes your readers want to know more about you when they found a great articles on your blog, and the one of practical application to make a conversation with them is Yahoo! Messenger as long as they know your ID and you are online / offline.

To do that, simply add the following code to show your Yahoo messenger status in eg. the sidebar :

<a href="ymsgr:sendIM?YOURYAHOOID">
<img border=0 src="http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=YOURYAHOOID&amp;m=g&amp;t=1" /> </a>

At the code above, you must change the YOURYAHOOID with your email-ID, while the t=1 is a function to show your status using an image. The image status is currently available up to t=16, that you can try by yourself which image that you need to display it on your blog.
