LG W2261V-PF Full HD LCD Monitor
LG Electronics is going to release its W2261V-PF LCD monitor with an HDMI interface and full 1080p HD support — starting from this October in Japan. Regarding specs, this 21.5- inch widescreen display boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a high contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (up to 20,000:1), 5-millisecond response time, and viewing angle of 170 degrees. It also loads D-Sub15 pin , digital DVI-D, and HDMI input for connectivity options, making this monitor suitable for moving images containing various levels of brightness, e.g. movies, cartoons, games, photos, and enjoy clear, crisp, and bright images.

I notice that this screen is the perfect compromise between a 1900×1200 monitor and an HDTV. I also notice that it’s very cheap.
I also notice that there’s a suspicious silence about it now in the UK. Obviously it undercuts loads of the competition whilst coming from a company with a good name in affordable screens.
Will we see it here before Xmas? I doubt it. Maybe for £500 or something equally criminal.
