Dell extends its lineage of upscale PCs with the release new XPS 430. It replaces the XPS 420 as Dell’s high-end multimedia desktop. This BTO-type computer are configurable with a up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 3.0GHz QX9650 Core 2 Extreme or Intel Core 2 Quad processors, an ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics with 256MB of VRAM, DVD super-multi drive or Blu-ray burner, and 640GB 7200rpm of SATA hard drive or a 2TB RAID. The XPS 430’s midsize tower case — a stylish combination of glossy black plastic and silvery metal — conceals the unit’s only real drawback. The XPS 430 price will start from $1,307 upwards.
