Asus has just unveils its new Windows Mobile 6.1-based handset to the masses, known as the Asus P565. Measures 102 x 60.5 x 16mm and weighs at 120 grams, this GPS-ready handset packs a 800MHz Marvell-Tavor processor, a 2.8-inch VGA display (480×640), Asus’ own Glide touch-control software, a 256MB flash memory, a 128MB SDRAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, SD / SDHC card slot, and a 3-megapixel AF camera. The Asus P565 is runs on Tri-band GSM ( 900/1800/1900Mhz ) with EDGE/GPRS network support, while UMTS/HSPA networks working on the 2100Mhz frequency. No idea on pricing, but it’s probably available sometimes on October.
