NEC of Japan has decided to release its VersaPro UltraLight type VC notebook in January, 2009. Technically speaking, the laptop features a 12.1-inch WXGA display at 1,280 x 800 resolution, 1GB of RAM, 80GB of HDD, an Intel GS45 Express Chipset, and your choice of Intel Celeron 723 1.2GHz or Core 2 Duo SU9300 1.2GHz processor. Otherwise, you’ll expect to get Wi-Fi connectivity, biometric fingerprint Sensor, Felica port, microSD card slot, and either Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business OS. The VersaPro UltraLight type VC price will start from ¥149,000 upwards.
