The 8220 brought the features which already found on previous Pearl models that packs on unusual form factor, making it hold a title as the first ever BlackBerry clamshell smartphone. For starter, it have a 2.6-inch TFT QVGA internal displat, a 128 x 160 pixels external display, SureType QWERTY keyboard and supports for Quad-band GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity. Retailed at Rs. 21,990 (around $458), you will also get BlackBerry Maps, HTML browser & push email, Document reader and editor, Stereo Bluetooth, 2 MP camera with flash, external memory card ( support up to 16GB ), and a built-in Li-Ion rechargeable battery that offers a talk time up to 4 hours or standby time up to 14 days.
