JVC XV-PB1 Blu-Ray Player With BD Live
JVC of USA today officially introduced of its first blu-ray player, known as the JVC’s XV-PB1. Set to available in March for $299.95, the unit offers AVCHD format playback capability, and BD Live (Profile ver. 2.0) feature, means that a Blu-ray player is fully compatible with both the picture-in-picture commentary tracks associated with Profile 1.1 (BonusView), as well the Internet-enabled features associated with Profile 2.0 (BD-Live). It decodes both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, plus it has great video quality on Blu-ray discs, while Playable discs are BD-ROM, BD-R/RE, BD/DVD Hybrid, DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, Audio CD and CD-R/RW.
