HTC Touch Cruise Smartphone

It has been reported that HTC, the famous smartphone maker, is ready to announced a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone — the HTC Touch Cruise. Coming with thinner, slicker design, the Cruise sports TouchFLO user interface, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GPS and A-GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus, a 2.8-inches display at QVGA resolution, and microSD memory card slot. What makes this special is the fact that it comes with HTC’s Footprints app for integrating that location data with photos and notes. In addition, the HTC Footprint takes geotagging a step further, allowing to to take notes and audio clips and embed them in a “postcard” of sorts, all still tied to that GPS location data — the cards are even auto-named by their location.

You may know that is a world-friendly WCDMA / HSPA 900 / 2100MHz version, but who residing in North America will be able to grab an onlock 850 / 1900MHz HSDPA 7.2Mbps version from Q2 of 2009 for $500 to $600.
