Sharp Aquos BD-HP21 BD-Live Enables Blu-Ray Disc Player
The new Sharp’s BD-HP21 DB player is especially designed to work together with AQUOS LCD TVs, thanks to the AQUOS LINK function through the HDMI connection. It features a full HD 1080p/24 fps video output, HDMI digital Interface, 7.1 Ch digital audio output, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, linear PCM decoding, and Quick Start Mode that allows the consumers to enjoy gorgeous Blu-ray Disc video with the touch of a button in less than 10 seconds, however it is depends on movie content, type of video connection, type of monitor being used, and Blu-ray Disc must also be preloaded for Quick Start operation. In addition, the Sharp BD-HP21 has include a BD-Live function that enables a consumer to interact with a Blu-ray movie through an Internet connection, however to enjoy BD-Live you need an Internet connection, Profile 2.0 Blu-ray player and a movie that offers interactive features. The BD-HP21 will be ship next month for ¥40,000 (about $435).
