Canon PowerShot D10 Waterproof Digital Camera

The newest Canon’s D10 is the companies first ruggedized PowerShot point-and-shoot camera, that features a 12-megapixel CCD sensor, 3x zoom lens , an optical image stabilization, 2.5-inch PureColor LCD II with 2mm protective shield, and includes Smart Auto Mode, face select and track, blink detection and face self-timer, and achieve 1,600 ISO sensitivity. Being a ruggedized camera, the D10 will able to operate underwater up to 33 feet in depths, withstand a vertical drop of up to 4 feet (120 cm) high, and resist temperatures as low as -20C (-4F). The D10 will be available on “early May of 2009″ for $330. In addition, the consumers also will have an option of IEC/JIS IP Protection Rating IPX8 or IPX6 and straps that designed to operation under water.
