Gigabyte GSmart S1200 Smartphone

Gigabyte’s latest phone of its MWC presentation is the GSmart S1200, a GPS-ready handset that runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 powered by 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB ROM, and 128MB RAM. Other features include a large 3.- inch (480 x 800 pixels) TFT touchscreen display with Gigabyte’s Smart Zone user interface, 3-megapixel auto focus camera, Wi-Fi, GSM and HSDPA or HSUPA connectivity, Mini USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, 1010 mAh battery, and MicroSD card slot. In addition, the GSmart S1200 is running under Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional but the consumers will be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. No idea on pricing, but we have an idea that the GSmart S1200 will be available on Q2 of 2009.
