Sharp AQUOS A series Full HD Eco-Friendly LCD HDTVs

Sharp of Japan recently unveiled AQUOS A series eco-friendly LCD HDTV that will be available in three models; 40” (LC-40AE6), 46” (LC-46AE6) and 52″ (LC-52AE6) size. Both of television features full High Definition support with 120-Hz frame rate conversion technology makes it possible to display pictures at 120 frames per second, along with contrast ratio 15,000: 1, brightness 450cd/m2, and 176 degrees side by side viewing. The new AQUOS HDTVs also adopt the “Optical Picture Control” technology that automatically adjust the backlight brightness according to lighting in the room and a “green eco-button” on the remote control allowing viewers to lower the energy consumption of the TV when in use. Sharp says the LC-40AE6 will hit the market in April 10th for 200,000 Yen, while the LC-52AE6 and the LC-46AE6 will out in May 15th for 390,000 Yen and 290,000 Yen, respectively.
