Nokia 5800 XpressMusic To Hold A Capacitive Touchscreen?

According to the latest press release, Nokia have shipped the much-loved of Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic Touch phone during quarter-one 2009 (January to March) for about 866K devices a month. So, is good enough to be successful? Not really… as reported by Digitimes, Nokia has upgraded its 5800 XpressMusic with a capacitive touchscreen technology to feel more suitable and sensitive than the resistive counterparts which already applied on the phone before, and perhaps for market strategy as well as to compete with Apple’s iPhone, LG Arena or Samsung’s i8910 (Omnia HD). No idea how much it will cost, but Nokia plans to shipped about two-million of the upgraded phones between May and June.
