Asus Eee PC 1003HAG Wireless WAN-Ready Netbook
Asus has announced a new version of its popular Eee PC line in Japan, the 1003HAG, which has a built-in an internal wireless WAN module and supports NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network with up to 7.2Mbps of download speed. The netbook uses a N280 Intel’s Atom processor at 1.66GHz, along with a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD, 10-inch LCD at 1,024×600 resolution, and pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition operating system. Other features include three USB 2.0 ports, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet, Bluetooth V2.1+EDR, 3-in-1 memory card reader, D-Sub15 pin, 4.3 hours of battery usage, 1,3 megapixel Webcam, and your choice of white, black or pink colors. The Eee PC 1003HAG will be available in May 16th for ¥69,800 or about US$725 after conversion.
