Aspire One 571 Gots Dedicated HD Video Chip And Mini Blu-ray Drive

Acer has just upgrade its Aspire One 571 with a dedicated HD video chip and a mini Blu-Ray optical disc drive, thus allowing the users to enjoy Blu-ray movies on the notebook directly. Since it is a minor upgrade, you’ll still found a 10.1-inch display but Acer has increased the resolution to 1280×720 with a 16:9 aspect ratio and added the Quartics Q1721 Multimedia Coprocessor to support the Intel Atom N28 and accelerate to decoding and encoding of H.264 codecs. As for the small Blu-Ray reader, it just can handle Vmedia’s 1GB discs with a diameter of 32mm, not the standard Blu-ray disc with a 120mm, Sorry…
