SKY IM-R470S Cell Phone Now Available Through SK Telecom

Sky, Pantech & Curitel’s sub-brand, has just announced the availability of its SKY IM-R470S cell phone in South Korea, via all SK Telecom retail stores. The handset is touted to be “great multimedia device” that provides visual delight with its 3D interface or three-dimensional interface called TruEmotion and a cube that can be rotated of course using the touchscreen. Cube looks like a style when you viewing programs and other computer files on your Vista-powered PC. There also an accelerometer, proximity sensor, DMB TV tuner, Back Ground Play, Picture in Picture, GPS, Bluetooth, 4GB of internal memory, an integrated 3 megapixel autofocus camera, and DMB TV tuner. The IM-R470S also can play unconverted video files (H.264, MPEG4, DivX, XviD) and display them on the 3.2 inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) Sharp LCD screen, which has a 160 degree viewing angle. It is available only in Korea, but we hope they will launch similar phone worldwide.
