Samsung i899 Android Phone Got Announced in China
China Telecom will receive the Samsung i899 Android-powered phone for their network distribution. Announced recently (in China), the Samsung i899 packs a 3.2 inch AMOLED resistive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels, 3.2MP camera with autofocus and flash, 800 MHz processor, 1440 mAh battery, and 512MB of internal memory but equips MicroSD card slot for expansion (support up to 32GB). Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi / WAPI, GPS, and DivX support. It’s measures 116.5 x 56.4 x 12.8 mm and weighs 126 grams. No idea on pricing, but the Samsung i899 should be available in China in early 2010. Well, folks in China will able to choose Philips D908 or Samsung i899 when these phone available at China Telecom.
