Sony Ericsson Aspen Smartphone Announced

Sony Ericsson recently announced the Aspen a.k.a Faith, the company’s first smartphone that run under Microsoft’s newest Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS and has become the latest members of their GreenHeart portfolio. On the specs department, the candy-bar style phone comes with human curvature design, and features  a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch 240×320 LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth, A-GPS with Google Maps, and WiFi connectivity. Other features include a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm jack, HPM-60J GreenHeart Stereo portable handsfree, and supports  Quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as Tri-band UMTS/HSPA networks. Users will also appreciate easy access to social networks like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. The Aspen also have SPB Mobile Shell 3.0, provides a nice looking app launcher, task manager, contact photo management, small applets they call widgets, and, as you can see above, and interesting 3D Carousel to view its various screen interfaces. No idea on pricing, the Aspen will be available in the second quarter of 2010 in Iconic Black and White Silver colors.
